The site is located only three miles from the A38/M1 intersection taking you quickly into the Peak District National Park, with Derbyshire, Nottingham and ""Robin Hood"" country also within a short distance. Retail therapy can be sought at the nearby East Midlands Designer Outlet or the new Westfield Centre in Derby. Plenty of places to visit including Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. The ""Five Pits Trail"" is just a minute's walk away where you can cycle, walk or if you have your own horse you can ride along miles of bridleways.

Stabling and grazing available for anyone waning to bring their own horse. The ""Five Pits Trail"" is accessble fom the site without extra travel with a horsebox, and riding is free.

From North/South
Leave M1 motorway at junction 28 and take A38 towards Mansfield. Leave by 2nd slip road (approx ½ mile) towards East Midlands Designer Outlet. At roundabout at top of slip road take 2nd exit into village of Hilcote. Follow road through built up factory area, then turn left 200 yards past saddlery shop. Continue to follow road for approx 1 mile into village of Blackwell and, at T junction turn right (Blackwell Hotel). Follow road up hill into Newton (approx ¼ mile) looking for house numbers 157-159 on right. Turn right between these 2 houses going down a lane until you see green metal gates at bottom. This is Hedgerow Holidays.

From East
Leave Mansfield on A38 heading for M1 motorway. Approx ½ mile from the M1/A38 junction take a left turn at East Midlands Designer Outlet. If miss this turn, go on to M1/A38 roundabout and follow directions as above. From Designer Outlet take 2nd exit, go up to 2nd roundabout and follow road into Hilcote, then follow route from North/South.

From West
Follow A38 from Derby to junction with M1 motorway. At roundabout take 3rd exit (A38 towards Mansfield). Leave by 2nd slip road towards East Midlands Designer Outlet, then follow directions from North/South.
