Families are a significant market for domestic tourism and are likely to remain so.  Evidence shows that family spending is set to increase.  Despite the growth in popularity of overseas holidays, 59% of families still take a domestic break.  Compared to UK holidays as a whole, family trips are likely to be longer - four or more nights (Mintel Family Holidays UK Report June 2004).  Families are also an important contributor to secondary spend such as food and drink.

For many businesses “being found” on the Internet is crucial. While there can be no substitute for your website appearing high in the “free” or “natural” search engine listings, the reality is that in practice this is difficult to achieve. Pay per click marketing or PPC can be used to get top positions in the search engines, even when you cannot get positions in the natural results. This one day workshop provides a strategic overview of what you need to know to set-up your PPC campaign. It will provide an introduction to developing, structuring and managing a successful and cost effective PPC advertising campaign and how to make sure that when potential customers land on your site it results in an enquiry or sale.

This workshop covers all aspects of planning, designing, running and measuring an email marketing campaign and also introduces low cost tools and methods to help get you started. Delegates will leave the workshop with an action plan that allows them to deliver their first campaign.

Companies often set-up their PPC campaign with little understanding of all the campaign options available, bidding strategies, or how the search engines actually decide which ad will get the top positions and how much they will pay. During this advanced session we will take the more experienced PPC practitioner through some of the options that are now available when using Google PPC. The workshop will explain how you can use different campaign options to target specific types of customers. In addition the workshop will demonstrate how Google "quality score" works; in order to show you how to optimise your campaigns and use different bidding strategies. We will also explain how to increase conversions rather than just focussing on traffic generation.
