The Peak District and Derbyshire offers a wide choice of Ranger Guided Walks
throughout the year, so that you'll be able to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery,
or learn something new about the environment in the knowledge that you're in safe
hands.
With their inspiring knowledge of the region and individual specialisation in
botany, birds and even White Mountain Hares, Rangers can offer something new,
both to first time visitors and those who are returning to much loved destinations.
There are walks and events throughout the year for everyone, including families,
wheelchair users and those new to the countryside, as well as more experienced
walkers. Each Ranger Guided Walk has its own individual theme for inspiration and special interest – let our
Rangers show you the very best the region has to offer.
The National Park Authority Rangers lead more than 250 free guided walks each
year and you can rest assured that every one of our rangers is an experienced
walk leader and qualified first aider.
There's also a great choice of independent walking and special interest providers
throughout the region offering everything from map reading and navigation courses
