Micro Breweries in the Peak District and Derbyshire

The Peak District and Derbyshire is known for many things – the outstanding beauty of the Peak District National Park and its famous historic houses and industrial heritage, but perhaps less so for its brewing.

The area's breweries, like many of those across the UK, were hit by the growth of the national and international breweries. But a revival is underway and the county is now home to more than 30 micro breweries, many of which have won national and international awards for the quality of their beers, 10 of whom have formed the Derbyshire Brewers Collective.
