Enjoy England, the official tourism body for England, has produced a short film featuring the delights of the Peak District, fronted by well-known travel writer and travel editor of The Independent, Simon Calder.
 
Produced in partnership with Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, You Write the Script features Simon taking up suggestions of things to do and places to see around the Peak District, using recommendations posted by visitors to the Enjoy England website, enjoyengland.com.

The wide-ranging suggestions take Simon to the top of the spectacular Stanage Edge, location of the iconic shot of Keira Knightley in Pride and Prejudice, see him sharing fish and chips with bikers in Matlock Bath... and even have him conquering his fear of heights when he climbs Millstone Edge!
 
We didn't manage to scare him off completely, however – he was so impressed with everything the area has to offer that he is planning a return visit soon, this time with his family!
