The Limestone WayThe Limestone WayThis 46-mile (74 km) route starts from Castleton, then crosses the lovely White Peak landscape at the heart of the Peak District National Park, before following the River Dove and ending at Rocester in Staffordshire.
 
The walking is varied and includes spectacular limestone dale scenery, as well as taking in the delightful villages of Monyash, Bonsall, Tissington and Thorpe.   
 
Along the route you'll be able to stay in comfortable B&Bs or hotels, each close to a local inn or restaurant where you can get your evening meal. Distances may vary slightly, depending on the location of your chosen accommodation.

This 55 mile (88.5km) route starts from Ladybower Reservoir near Bamford and follows the River Derwent down to Shardlow, south of Derby. Scenery along the route changes dramatically, from the beauty of the Peak District National Park to the fascinating heritage of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and the bustling marina at Shardlow. 
 
Along the route you can stay in comfortable B&Bs or hotels, each close to a local inn or restaurant where you can get your evening meal. Buses may also be used as this is a route with good public transport connections. Walking distances may vary slightly, depending on the location of your chosen accommodation.
