A Victorian mid-terraced two storey cottage on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ashbourne in Derbyshire, which is a market town with a number of cafés, restaurants, pubs, individual shops, and historic buildings. All the attractions of the Peak District are close by including Carsington Water, Dovedale, Alton Towers, Chatsworth, Buxton, Bakewell and the Tissington Trail and many outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, climbing, golf, boating and fishing.
Conifer Cottage is a comfortable, modernised property comprising a lounge and kitchen/diner on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms (double and twin) and a bathroom, with shower over bath, on the first floor.
The lounge has comfortable seating and a wide screen digital TV with Freesat, BBC iPlayer and DVD player. WiFi internet access.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with oven, microwave, toaster, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board and a fridge/freezer. There is a small courtyard at the rear with shrubs, garden furniture and barbeque.
Gas central heating throughout. Fitted carpets everywhere except the kitchen and bathroom which have hard flooring.
The property is open all year including Christmas and New Year, and bookings are taken for any day of the week, including short breaks.

At roundabout of A515 south, A52 east/west - take Clifton Rd (A515) exit to Ashbourne - straight on at mini roundabout - at traffic lights turn right into Old Hill - Conifer Cottage is 100m on the right.
From A515 north (Buxton) - enter town centre - follow left into St John's St. (one-way) - right into Park Rd. - right into Sturston Rd. - at traffic lights take 2nd left into Old Hill - Conifer Cottage is 100m on the right.
Post code is DE6 1BL.
The nearest railway station is Derby which is 13 miles away. From Derby railway station you need to transfer to the bus station and take the Trent Barton bus Swift to Uttoxeter and get off at Ashbourne bus station, which is 400m from Conifer Cottage. These buses run every hour.

  • Conifer Cottage is a terraced property built at the end of the 19thC but completely modernised and very comfortable. It is ideally situated 5 minutes walk from the town centre but also within easy reach of the countryside. It is on a hill with a gradual incline. The property has two bedrooms which are both on the first floor and can sleep up to 4 people.
